News: Pogo does the Lord of the Rings REMIX

Pogo is Nick Bertke, originally from New Zealand who has been remixing and DJing since he was 9 years old.  

Here is how he says his musical journey began:

Between ages 7 and 18, I filled over 90 cassette tapes with recordings of music I liked on the radio. Dance, House, Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, even Jazz and Classical. Soon after moving to Perth, I fell in love with the Playstation games Music and Music 2000 before discovering PC software like Cakewalk and FLStudio. Since I was a toddler, there have always been small pieces of music and dialogue in movies that stand out to me, so with a copy of 'Oliver!' on DVD, I began splicing sounds and piecing them together like a jigsaw puzzle. I later worked on 'Alice In Wonderland' to produce my track and video 'Alice', which sky-rocketed my internet identity as a music producer far beyond expectation.

He was then hired by Disney to do some remixes for them professionally.
